WILD texas short film GRANT

2019 marked the first year of the Wild Texas Short Film Grant, presented by Explore Ranches and Fin & Fur Films. The recipient of last year’s $10,000 film grant was Olivia Haun, conservationist and filmmaker based in Austin. With funds from this grant, Olivia was able to complete production on her film Bayou City, which will be available to watch in this year’s virtual film tour.
Proceeds from the 2020 virtual Wild Texas Film Tour will fund the next Wild Texas Short Film Grant. We will select a film project that falls in line with our goals of showcasing Texas-based wildlife, conservation efforts, and outdoor adventure. The state of Texas has many positive conservation stories and a wide variety of habitats and species. We aim to support projects that celebrate our state’s rich conservation heritage and future.
Grant applications will open February 2021
